Which Sausage Filler is the Best?
It depends on the prodcut you are trying to fill.
For a traditional British sausage which contains rusk and is therefore quite a dense mix then we recommend the Mainca range of machines as they are proven to have the power.
However for many of our customers a La Felsinea is a cheaper option that can do the job perfectly for them.
Once we know a bit more about the product you are stuffing we can make the appropriate recommendation.
Prices for manual fillers start at around £800 and for hydraulic fillers they start from £2200.
The largest hydraulic fillers will be over £7000.
We recommend medium to large scale producers should have their machines serviced by a qualified technician every 6 months.
Manual fillers aren't cost effective to be serviced.
It all depends on your production volume, the product you are filling and the outcome you want to achieve.

Who manufacturers Sausage Fillers?
We supply machines manufactured by La Felsinea, Mainca, Ramon and Talsa
The biggest machines are the Mainca EL50 with a 50 litre capacity
The La Felsinea IS8X is the smallest manual filler we have and the smallest hydraulic filler is the Mainca FC12.
A sausage filler is a piece of food processing equipment wwith a cylindrical tube into which the product is placed. The product is then forced through a smaller outlet into casings to create the final product.
What is the warranty?
It varies from each manufacturer but generally the industry standard is 12 months parts warranty.
We offer additional warranty cover to include labour and extensions over 12 months. Details of this will be included in any quote you receive from us and depends on the delivery option you decide to take.
Sometimes called service contracts our engineers will come and inspect your machine and conduct a service based on the manufacturers guidelines.
We change all wearable parts and these are designed to be changed regularly in order to protect the more expensive parts of the machine.
The most common problems occur when the product being stuffed is too dense for the machine with causes the gearbox to fail.
Overloading the machine will also have the same effect as the machine will not be able to push the product out putting too much presure on the gearbox.
